Public files search engine findable?

In the Starter package, when you designate records as public and they appear on your public portal page, are they then searchable/findable by search engines?  Or would you only really find them if you had the web page link?


I ask because I would like to make my archives accessible to staff at my organization, but not to the general public.  Would that work with the public portal if I gave only staff members the link to the public portal page?  Or is there another way to do it?

Hi,


The public portal is set up to be discoverable and indexable to search engines, so anything made public would be available to the general public. So the use case you suggest would not be possible in the Starter system at the moment.
